@nyalldawson @lutraconsulting To make the existing Advanced Digitizing tools easier to use, we added an option to show the current distance/angle/x/y values as a floating display next to the mouse cursor. qgis.org/en/site/forusers/visualchangelog38/index.html#feature-floating-widget-for-advanced-input-next-to-cursor by Olivier Dalang and @OPENGISch
